Sara Wolk
Voting Rights Champion
Sara Wolk is the Executive Director and a co-founder of the Equal Vote Coalition, a nonprofit fighting for true equality in the vote itself. In 2023 she co-authored a peer-reviewed paper on voting method accuracy and strategy published in the journal Constitutional Political Economy (STAR Voting, Equality of Voice, and Voter Satisfaction: Considerations for Voting Reform). Her background spans from work in the sustainable agriculture and architecture fields to participating on an ecological survey project in Ecuador’s Cloud Forest that helped build the case for the first-ever international judicial precedent on the rights of nature. Today, she is a speaker, writer, researcher, content creator, and organizer focused on teaching people about voting methods and the way they shape our society. When she’s not busy upgrading our political system, Sara races small sailboats and loves to play music.
